New Delhi. Bollywood’s famous producer-director and actor Satish Kaushik is celebrating his 66th birthday today. He was born on 13 April 1956 in Mahendragarh district of Haryana. Satish, who has worked in many Bollywood hits, has made a special place in the hearts of people with his excellent performance and comedy. Satish Kaushik, who started his career as an assistant director with Shekhar Kapur’s film ‘Masoom’ in 1983, acted as an assistant director along with acting in the film ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’. Not only this, he also wrote the dialogues of this film. After this, he made his debut as a director with the film ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’. After that he directed several films one after the other. Satish also won the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian twice for the films ‘Ram Lakhan’ and ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’. Satish, who tickles people with his humour, has been facing a lot of turmoil in his life. There has been such an accident in his life, which he can hardly forget. In fact, during the 1990s, his son Sanu, who was only two years old, died.
After this accident, Satish Kaushik was very sad and started living alone. To get himself out of this accident, he started keeping himself very busy. It took him many years to recover from this grief, when in the year 2012, after 16 years, his daughter Vanshika was born in Satish’s house through surrogacy. Sharing his good news on the birth of a daughter, Satish Kaushik had said that the birth of our daughter is the end of our long and painful wait for a child. Last year, Satish Kaushik was seen in the film Pankaj Tripathi starrer ‘Kaagaz’, which he also directed himself. After this he was seen in the film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ opposite Paresh Rawal.
