Shahid Kapoor is excited about the release of his upcoming film Jersey. He has been promoting the film vigorously for a few days. Meanwhile, recently Shahid said that he is scared of doing big budget films. He said that he has no interest in doing such films now. Along with this, Shahid has also given the reason behind doing so.
Shahid said, ‘After Kabir Singh everyone was saying that I should do a film of 150 crores. People want to give me more money. I said yes I will definitely get money, but what about the film. There is a difference between making a great film and making a good film. I don’t think a big budget film will take the audience to the theatres. If you want the film to do well at the box office, the film should connect with the audience.
‘It is possible for me to do a big film, but why am I doing Jersey again and not doing such films? Because I am following my heart about films, not looking at the size of the film. For me, the heart of the film is the size of the film.
Shahid further said, ‘I do not believe that if you spend a lot of money, then more and more audience will come there. I am scared of doing big budget films because things go out of your hands there.
