New Delhi. These days, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty seems to be more involved in legal disputes than her work. Recently, a case has been registered against her in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, in which four people including Shilpa are accused of causing a lot of trouble to the common people due to her private event. Now, another big case has come to light regarding Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra. According to PTI report, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have moved the Bombay High Court against the notice issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). . The ED had directed him to vacate his luxurious residential complex in Juhu and the farm house located near Pavana Lake.
Appeal against ED notice
Shilpa and Raj Kundra have appealed in the Bombay High Court on September 27 challenging the Enforcement Directorate’s notice. In his petition, he has termed the eviction notice issued by the ED as “arbitrary, reckless and lawless”. He has sought the court’s intervention to protect his and his family’s shelter.

What is the matter?
ED has directed Shilpa and Raj to vacate their farm house near Pawana Dam in Pune and their residential house in Juhu area of Mumbai. This instruction has been issued after the order of Delhi Authority under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). ED says that this property has been acquired from activities related to money laundering, due to which it is being confiscated.

The division branch of the Bombay High Court comprising Justice Revati Mohite-Dere and Justice Prithviraj Chavan has issued a notice to the ED in this case on October 9 and has fixed the matter for hearing on October 10. The couple had received an eviction notice on October 3, directing them to vacate their property within 10 days.

Legal battle continues
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have filed this petition through their lawyer Prashant Patil, in which they have demanded protection of their rights and their family. Now it remains to be seen what decision the Bombay High Court gives in this matter on October 10.
