90s superstar singer Tarsem Singh Saini aka Taj has passed away. At the age of 55, he has said goodbye to the world. It is being told that he went into a coma due to liver failure. Tarsem Singh Saini came into the limelight after the 1989 album Hit the Deck. Apart from this, he was also the lead singer of the pop band Stereo Nation. Formed in 1996, the band was cross cultural Asian fusion. Tarsem Singh Saini had sung many superhit songs in the 90s. Talking about his most popular album till date, it was Slave II Fusion in the year 2000.

He sang the song ‘Daaru Vich Pyaar’ from the film ‘Tum Bin’, ‘It’s Magic’ from the film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ and ‘Mujhpe To Jadu’ from the film ‘Race’ which were well received by the audience. After the death of Taj, there has been a wave of mourning in the film industry. Many fans and celebrities are mourning his death. Film producer Gurinder Chadha posted a picture of Taj on his death. Gurinder Chadha wrote in the caption of the post, ‘Heartbroken to hear the news of the passing of British Asian Music legend. You can’t even imagine the level of excitement I felt after hearing #HitTheDeck for the first time.’
Paparazzi Viral Bhayani has also condoled the death of Taj by posting. In his post, he wrote, ‘Very sorry to hear the news of the demise of Stereo Nation’s Taj. Taj came into the limelight after the 1989 album. ‘Galla Goriyan’, ‘Nachenge Saari Raat’ and ‘Pyaar Ho Gaya’ are some of his most amazing creations. He was suffering from hernia and his surgery got postponed due to COVID which made his problem even more serious. He was in a coma for some time but he lost the battle.
