Renowned Pakistani musician Hania Aslam died of a heart attack on Sunday, August 11. Hania’s cousin and music partner Zeb Bangash confirmed the news on Instagram. The two sisters were known as the Zeb-Hania duo. According to reports, Hania died right after suffering a heart attack. Zeb shared several photos on Instagram paying tribute to singer Hania Aslam and wrote, ‘Haini’.
Also worked in Indian films
Zeb and Hania have also worked together in Indian films like ‘Madras Cafe’ and ‘Highway’. Hania gave voice to the song ‘Soha Saha’ in ‘Highway’, she became Alia Bhatt’s playback singer. During this film, she also got a chance to work with AR Rahman. After seeing sister Zeb’s recent post, Indian artists are also expressing their reactions. From director Kiran Rao to singer Swanand Kirkire, everyone has expressed their condolences. Swanand Kirkire commented on the post and wrote, ‘WTF… what happened? OMG.’

Indian singer and actor Swanand Kirkire also shared a special post for Hania after reacting to the post and wrote, ‘My dear Hania Aslam is no more. She suffered a cardiac arrest last night and passed away peacefully. We shared a special bond while working together in ‘Kaho Kya Khayal Hai’.’ As soon as the news of Hania’s death went viral, a wave of mourning spread among her fans in India and Pakistan.
