Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are enjoying their married life. Let us remind you, both of them had a court marriage in the presence of family and friends this year and had a reception party for Bollywood celebs. In such a situation, during the interview, Sonakshi was asked whether there was no pressure on her to have a big fat Indian wedding? On this, Sonakshi said that she did not have a big fat Indian wedding because of her brother Kush Sinha.
What did Sonakshi say?
In an interview to Galata India, Sonakshi said, “There was pressure to have a big fat Indian wedding, but we were very clear about what kind of wedding we wanted. If you go back in time and remember my brother’s (Kush) wedding, you will remember that he had a big fat Indian wedding. There were about 5,000 to 8,000 people in each function of his wedding. That’s when I told my mother that my wedding will not be like this.” Kush married Taruna Agarwal in 2015.

Sonakshi further said, “This day comes only once in our life, so we wanted to make this day very special. So we had the wedding the way we wanted. There were some friends who were not happy with our decision. They wanted more functions like Huma, my friend and stylist Mohit. Mohit was after me saying ‘I want you to change outfits five times in your wedding’, but I changed only once. He got angry at this.”
Sonakshi’s brother Luv did not come to the wedding
Let us tell you, Sonakshi and Zaheer got married after being together for seven years. Her brother Kush attended the reception, but her brother Luv did not attend the wedding.
