Sonu Sood cleaned in fraud case
A Ludhiana court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Sonu Sood in a fraud case. After this, actor Sonu Sood officially spoke openly about the matter and revealed the truth. The warrant was issued by Ludhiana Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur. In the fraud case, on Friday morning, Sonu shared a note on his ex-account and said that he was called to become a ‘witness’ in this case, so that I had nothing to do. He also demanded strict action in the matter.

On X, the actor wrote after the news of the arrest warrant in the fraud case, ‘We have to make it clear that the news going viral on the social media platform is sensationally for me. To say the case directly, we were called by the Hon’ble Court as a witness in the case related to the third party, so that we have nothing to do. Our lawyers have responded and on 10 February 2025, we will give another statement, in which I will present the evidence of my innocence in this matter.
Dampered for attention
At the end of the statement, Sonu said, ‘We are neither a brand ambassador nor we are related to this matter in any way. This has been done only to draw media attention. It is sad that celebs are easily targeted. We will take strict action in this matter. For information, let us know that the next hearing of this case is to be held on February 10.
Sonu Sood accused of cheating
The warrant was issued by Ludhiana Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur. The lawyer Rajesh Khanna had registered a case of fraud of Rs 10 lakh. He alleges that the main accused Mohit Shukla lured him to invest in Rizika Coin. In the same case, the court had sent summons to Sonu Sood to testify, after which he did not reach the court and issued an arrest warrant in his name. The officer in charge of Oshiwara police station in Andheri West, Mumbai was instructed to arrest Sonu Sood. Talking about the work, Sonu was last seen in the action thriller film ‘Fateh’. He also made his debut as a director from this film.
