New Delhi. Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has decided to donate Rs 25 lakh to the Kerala CM Relief Fund to help the victims of the landslide in Wayanad. On Sunday, the actor shared an emotional note on his Instagram.
Allu Arjun wrote in his post, ‘I am deeply saddened by the recent landslide in Wayanad. Kerala has always given me a lot of love and I want to contribute by donating Rs 25 lakh to the Kerala CM Relief Fund to support the rehabilitation work. Praying for your safety and strength.’

Sharing his post, the actor said in the caption, “Praying for the safety and strength of the people of Kerala. On the morning of July 30, several landslides occurred in Punjari Matom, Mundakkai, Choorlamala, Attamala, Meppadi and Kunhom villages in Wayanad district of Kerala. These landslides resulted in heavy loss of life. Due to heavy rains, the hill collapsed and a flow of mud, water and stones spread in the area.

Let us tell you, heavy rains and landslides occurred in Wayanad district of Kerala on July 30, due to which many people lost their lives. On Friday evening, the death toll in the landslide crossed 300 and more than 200 people are still reported missing.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. The film was scheduled to release on August 15, but will now release in theatres on December 6.
