Stree 2 Box Office Collection
Ever since Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree 2’ has hit the theatres, the audience is going crazy over it. The audience is showering more love on the film after its release than the excitement that was seen before its release. This most awaited film of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao came to theatres on 15th August and has become a hit among the audience as soon as it was released. It has been just three days since the film was released and it has made many records at the box office in terms of collection. After crossing the 100 crore mark in the first two days, Stree 2 has now made a new record.
Stree 2 earned 44 crores on the third day
According to the data of SaccNilk, ‘Stree 2’ had a great opening of 60.3 crores on the first day including previews and then collected 31.4 crores on the second day. Now the figures of the film’s third day collection have also come out. If we look at the third day collection of the film, Stree 2 has earned 44 crores. That is, till now the film has earned Rs 135.7 crores at the domestic box office and with the third day’s collection, the film has created a new record.
Stree 2 became the third highest grossing film of the year
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer horror-comedy has become the third highest grossing Bollywood film of the year. Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s ‘Fighter’ is at number one in this list and Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan starrer ‘Shaitan’ is at number two. Stree 2 has become the third highest grossing film of the year, leaving behind Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma and Mona Singh’s ‘Munjya’.
Stree 2 is the sequel of Stree
Talking about Stree 2, it is the sequel of ‘Stree’ released in 2018, directed by Amar Kaushik. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao are in the lead roles in the film. Apart from this, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana are also in important roles in the film. Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan also have a cameo in the film, which has been much talked about since the release of the film. There are hints in the climax of the film that both these stars can also be seen in the next part of the Stree franchise.
