Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 2
Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee starrer ‘Stree 2’ made a splash on the very first day with a great start at the box office. How much the audience was waiting for this horror comedy can be gauged from the fact that this film has superstar Akshay Kumar and John Abraham’s films in theatres opposite it, but none of them are close to it in terms of earnings. The film earned a brilliant Rs 60.3 crore in India on the first day, while its gross collection was around Rs 76.5 crore. Now the figures of the second day of the film’s earnings have also come out, which shows that the film has earned a lot of money on the second day as well.
Stree 2 continues to shine on the second day as well
Stree 2 added another Rs 30 crore to its net total on the second day of its release, taking the net collection to Rs 90.3 crore. This solid performance has taken Stree 2’s total collection past the Rs 100 crore mark, which is a significant achievement for a film of this genre. Looking at the craze among the audience for Stree 2 and the long weekend, trade analysts predict that it will easily cross the Rs 200 crore mark by the end of the weekend.
‘Veda’ and ‘Khel-Khel Mein’ released with Stree 2
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and John Abraham’s ‘Veda’ were released in theatres along with Stree 2, but they failed to compete with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s film on the opening day. Despite the films of two big stars, Stree 2 managed to hold its own among the audience, the main reason for which was the audience’s anticipation for the film and positive reviews.
45.31 percent occupancy was found in Hindi speaking areas
According to Sacnilk.com, the film got a good occupancy of 45.31 percent in Hindi speaking areas on Friday, August 16, 2024. The sequel to the film, Stree 2, sees the terror of a terrifying Sarkate in the city of Chanderi. The townspeople turn to Stree once again to get rid of this terrifying monster. The film also has several surprising cameos, including those from ‘Bhediya’s’ Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar.
