‘Stree 2’ Movie Review: Vicky, Rudra, Jana and Bittu won’t let you get up from your seat

Everyone was waiting for Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana starrer film ‘Stree 2’ for a long time, so the makers released this film in theaters before 15 August. Yes, earlier this film was going to be released on 15 August along with ‘Veda’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’, but the makers decided to release it a day earlier and the first show of ‘Stree 2’ was shown on 14 August at 9.30 pm.

This time too the film will prove to be successful in scaring and making you laugh. The story of the film has been made by connecting it with the first part, so you will feel as if you have finished ‘Stree’ and are sitting to watch ‘Stree 2. The second part of the film made with the same star cast seems to be giving a tough competition to the first part. So let us first tell you about the story of ‘Stree 2’.

This time in the film, the terror of a headless ghost has spread in the city of Chanderi. Last time, where the woman was kidnapping the boys of Chanderi, this time the headless ghost is kidnapping the girls. Like last time, this time also all the women reach Rajkumar Rao (Vicky) and ask for his help. Vicky is forced to come forward for them and in this Shraddha Kapoor again suddenly appears and helps him. Pankaj Tripathi (Rudra), Abhishek Banerjee (Jana) and Aparshakti Khurana (Bittu) are also with Vicky.

There is another special thing in the film and that is the special appearance of Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan. Although both these actors have done cameos in the film, but their role in the film is very special. Also, this time Vicky also comes to know the reality of Shraddha Kapoor, but will Vicky be able to save Chanderi again? Will he be able to end the terror of the headless ghost? Talking about acting, the entire star cast including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana have done justice to their characters. All these characters will be successful in making you laugh and scare you. This month will be very lucky for Abhishek Banerjee because apart from ‘Stree 2’, he is also seen in ‘Veda’. However, in ‘Veda’ he is playing the role of the main villain. People will get to see his different avatars in both the films and Abhishek has played a brilliant role in both the films.

Amar Kaushik has done a wonderful direction. Amar had done wonders in the first part and the second part has also shown his tremendous direction. He has paid attention to everything. The song ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ filmed on Tamanna Bhatia in the film will be very interesting to watch on the big screen, while the song ‘Aai Nahi’ sung by Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh will force you to dance. Overall, this is a family film, which you will definitely want to watch once with your entire family. 4 stars to the film from my side.
