Sujoy Ghosh’s film Badla was released in the year 2019. Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan were in lead roles in this film. The film received a very good response critically. Now Sujoy has told some things about this film. He told how the entire team was tired due to Big B’s continuous rehearsals and Taapsee had become unconscious.
Big B rehearsed 16-17 times
Ghosh said, he had rehearsed this scene at least 16-17 times. Everyone was tired. Taapsee was about to faint in a corner. But sir said let’s do it and kept rehearsing.
Taapsee was called crazy
After this, when shown a photo of him with Taapsee, he said, ‘You should ask Taapsee why she made me do this. I don’t have words for them. She came up with some crazy ideas. I don’t take responsibility for his antics. He is crazy but I love him so I end up doing crazy things like him.
Taapsee had brought the script
On making Badla, Ghosh said, ‘This film was possible because of Taapsee. She had brought the script. But I initially refused to direct it. After this Akshay and Sunil approached me with the same project saying that they are making changes in it. I again said to direct but on one condition that I will hire Amit ji and rewrite the script. When they agreed, I again took up the project.
