He said, ‘Hussain was admitted to a hospital in San Francisco last week due to heart problem.’ However, by night the news of his demise was being declared false. He is famous all over the world as a tabla player and has been awarded many big honors in the country and abroad. The death of renowned tabla player Zakir Hussain, awarded with Padma Vibhushan, was confirmed by his family to PTI on the morning of Monday, December 16.
