Tamil remake of ‘Panchayat’ will be released on OTT.
‘Panchayat’ is one of the most famous and hit comedy-drama series in English. Prime Video has announced the premiere date of its upcoming Tamil original series ‘Thalaivatiyan Palayam’. Directed by Naga of ‘Marmadesam’ and ‘Ramani vs Ramani’ fame, the series which is said to be a Tamil remake of the platform’s hit English series ‘Panchayat’ is written by Balakumaran Murugesan and now, its Tamil remake ‘Thalaivatiyan Palayam’ is all set to release on OTT soon.

TVF (The Viral Fever)’s Tamil remake of ‘Panchayat’, ‘Thalaivatiyan Palayam’ stars stand-up comedian Abhishek Kumar in the lead. Along with this, other actors like Chetan and Devadarshini will also be seen in lead roles. Stars like Jitendra Kumar, Sanvika, Chandan Rai and Neena Gupta will not be seen in this series. Only South actors and actresses will be seen in the Tamil remake of ‘Panchayat’. The makers have shared the poster of the new show on social media which is in discussion among the people. In the poster, the lead characters are seen posing in the desert and their look looks interesting as well as mysterious. Talking about Abhishek Kumar, the audience is eager to see this actor again in the lead role, whose character was played by Jitendra Kumar in ‘Panchayat’.

The eight-episode ‘Panchayat’ series is produced by The Viral Fever (TVF). It stars Abhishek Kumar, Chethan Kadambi, Devadarshini, Niyati, Anand Sami and Paul Raj in lead roles. ‘Thalaivatiyaan Palayam’ will premiere on Prime Video on September 20 in Tamil with English subtitles.
