At a recent event, director Pa. Ranjith opened up about the making process of his much-awaited pan-India film ‘Tangallan’. He said that the climax of the film had to be re-shot because he was not satisfied with the original footage. In such a situation, all the actors of the film had started their new projects, but they were called again and the climax of the film was reshot. At the event, Pa. Ranjith apologized to actor Chiyaan Vikram for the difficult fight scenes, which were very tough. Let us tell you that while doing the film, Chiyaan Vikram suffered a serious injury to his ribs and due to that the actor had to undergo surgery.
Ranjit’s entire focus was on the actors
Ranjit said that during the shoot, he used to focus so much on the scenes that he did not check if the actors were okay or not. He used to see them only as their characters, like Vikram as Tangalan and Daniel Caltagirone as Lord Clement. Because of this, he became very demanding during the shoot. He used to be harsh at times.
