1. Ashok Kumar– Ashok Kumar, considered the first superstar of Hindi cinema, has given many hit films in his career. His film “Qismat” is the first blockbuster of Hindi cinema. In 1943, this film created a new record by doing business of more than one crore. After giving many hits as a hero, Ashok Kumar also opened his own studio by the name of “Filmistan” and made many films under this banner. Ashok Kumar had four children, one son and three daughters. His son tried his hand at films but left the film line after his first film flopped. His daughter Preeti Gagunli also worked as a supporting actor in some films but was not very successful.
2. Shammi Kapoor– Sixties superstar and Raj Kapoor’s brother Shammi Kapoor gave many hit films like “Junglee”, “Brahmachari”, “Kashmir Ki Kali” but his children could not do any great work in films. His son Aditya Raj Kapoor tried his hand in film production but did not achieve great success. Later he achieved success in construction and transport business.
3. Dev Anand – Sunil Anand, son of superstar Dev Anand of the fifties and sixties, worked in films like “Car Thief” and “Anand Hi Anand” but could not give hits. Later he started managing the production house Navketan Films established by his father.
4. Guru Dutt– Guru Dutt, the hero of great films like “Pyaasa” and “Kaagaz Ke Phool” is considered the genius of Hindi cinema. Due to the death of him and his wife-actress Geeta Dutt at an early age, their children grew up in the household of Guru Dutt’s brother. His two sons Varun Dutt and Arun Dutt tried their hand in films but could not do anything special.
5. new motionless Naveen Nischal, who became a superstar overnight with his first film “Sawan Bhado”, gave many hit films in the seventies. He married twice. He had two daughters, Natasha and Nomita, from his first marriage. Both are away from the film world.
7. Farooq Shaikh – Farooq Shaikh, hero of hit films like “Noori” and “Umrao Jaan” earned a big name in the film world but his children Sana and Shaista remained away from the film world.
8. Nana Patekar– Malhar Patekar, son of actor Nana Patekar, who left his mark with films like “Parinda” and “Prahar” in the nineties, runs a production house. He has bought this production house in the name of his father.
9. Amol Palekar– The daughter of Amol Patekar, who left his mark with films like “Rajnigandha” and “Golmaal”, had worked in his TV show Kachchi Dhoop but did not appear in any film after that. His second daughter also stays away from the film world.
10Raj Kiran– Raj Kiran, who made his name with films like “Karz”, “Arth” and “Waris”, went to America in the middle of his career and was not seen for years. His daughter Vanshika is away from the film world.
