Tamil actor Vijay Thalapathy will soon quit his film career to pursue a career in politics, but before that KVN Productions on Friday announced that he has signed another film. Fans are happy that the actor will complete his 69th film before entering politics with his new party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam. On Friday, KVN Productions gave a hint about Vijay’s last film on their X (formerly Twitter) page. They shared some special scenes from Vijay’s hit films, writing, “5 Mani-Ku Sandhippom Nanba Nanbi. We are happy to announce that our Tamil film is with Vijay which is his last film.”
Vijay’s film and political career
Vijay made his film debut as a lead actor in the 1992 film ‘Naalaiya Theerpu’ and became one of the biggest stars of Tamil cinema. He has starred in hits such as ‘Coimbatore Mappillai’, ‘Love Today’, ‘Kushi’ and ‘Ghilli’. He was recently seen in Venkat Prabhu’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’ which released in theaters on 5 September. In February this year, Vijay launched his political party named Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. It is believed that Vijay’s party may contest the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in the year 2026.
