You may or may not remember the story of Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz’s film ‘Aap Ki Kasam’, but you will definitely remember the song ‘Jai Jai Shiv Shankar Kaanta Lage Na Kankar’ from the film. People still remember the lyrics of the song, that hill and the Shiva temple. This song was shot in Gulmarg’s Shiva temple ‘Mohineshwar’, which is located in the world famous ski resort Gulmarg. This temple suddenly caught fire on Wednesday evening. The fire was so terrible that most of the temple was damaged in a short time.
The reason behind the fire incident in ‘Mohineshwar’ Shiv temple is not known yet. But, after the incident, the police have registered a case and started investigation. The song ‘Jai Jai Shiv Shankar Kaanta Lage Na Kankar’ from the 1974 film ‘Aap Ki Kasam’ was shot near this temple.
According to the information, there were no casualties in this incident, but the upper part of the temple was made of wood and hence it was burnt to ashes. Fortunately, when this incident happened in the temple, there was no one in the temple. Even the temple watchman was not in the temple premises at that time.
