Last November 1, on Diwali, there was a fierce clash between two big Bollywood films at the box office. Rohit Shetty’s film Singham Again and Kartik Aryan starrer film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa-3’ were released in theaters on the same day. However, even after releasing on the same day, both the films have earned more than Rs 200 crore. Despite this, both the films are still running in theatres. Now Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 producer Bhushan Kumar has accused the team of Singham Again of being unfair. Bhushan Kumar had put a strike on the title track of Singham Again. After which it was removed.
Serious allegations made against the team of Singham Again
Bhushan Kumar has recently given an interview to a YouTube channel named Connect Cine. In this interview, Bhushan Kumar has called the process of screen sharing with the team of Singham Again as unfair. In which Bhushan Kumar said, ‘Singham Again and our film were released on the same day. I didn’t want to trouble the film. But we had a deal regarding OTT and many rights. Due to which we could not take the film forward. Singham Again also had the compulsion that the theme of his film was Ramayana and it had to be released on Diwali only. But I had an argument with the team of Singham Again regarding screen sharing. In which the team of Singham Again was unfair.
Released on the same day but both films earned equal amount
Karthik Aryan and Trupti Dimri were seen in lead roles in director Anees Bazmee’s film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa-3’. Along with this, many big stars including Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit were seen in this film. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had an opening of Rs 35.5 crores on the first day itself. After this, the film performed well at the box office and collected Rs 225.8 crore in 17 days. Singham Again was also the third part of the hit series. This film had a huge star cast including Ajay Devgan and Kareena Kapoor. Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff were also seen in important roles in Singham Again. Arjun Kapoor was seen in the role of villain in the film. Singham Again had an opening of Rs 43 crore. So far, Singham Again has earned Rs 223.5 crore in 17 days.
