Director Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been released in theatres. The film stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumar among others. The film is based on the story of the murder and exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s. ‘The Kashmir Files’ released on March 11. Prabhas’s big budget film ‘Radhe Shyam’ has also been released on the same day. Despite this, the business of ‘The Kashmir Files’ has surprised everyone. The film has collected 3.55 crores on the first day.
Great performance in low budget
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that ‘The Kashmir Files gave a big surprise on the first day. Despite the limited number of screens (630+ screens), the film continued to grow strongly during the day…collections in the evening and then in the night. There will definitely be an increase on the second and third day. 3.55 crore on Friday.
Hoping for a good weekend
According to the report, the budget of ‘The Kashmir Files’ is Rs 14 crore. In such a situation, if it has done a business of more than three and a half crores on the first day, then it seems to be getting more success in the coming days. Now eyes are on the weekend collection of the film.

who produced
‘The Kashmir Files’ is jointly produced by Zee Studios, Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Agnihotri. The film was earlier scheduled to release in January but was delayed due to COVID-19.
