Shahrukh Khan is the biggest star in Indian cinema at present, which is why he is called the box office king. Film director Mukul Anand made his debut in 1983 with the Gujarati film ‘Kanku Ni Keemaan’. A year later, he entered Bollywood. Over the next decade he directed nine more films, including ‘Hum’, ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Khuda Gawah’, starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. ‘Trimurti’ was his biggest film and sadly also his last film as a director. He produced two more films, ‘Army’ and ‘Prithvi’, before returning to direction with ‘Dus’ starring Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. However, he died of a heart attack at the age of 45 in September 1997, leaving the film incomplete.
