New Delhi. A case of tomatoes being thrown and stones being thrown at the residence of actor Allu Arjun in Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad has come to light. The flower pots at the residence were damaged in the incident. According to the information, people associated with Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC) are said to be behind this attack.

Six members of OU-JAC protested at the actor’s residence demanding justice for the victim woman Revathi and her family. The protesters carried placards and raised slogans and threw tomatoes at the residence. During this period, private employees were also stopped. According to the police, an incident of stone pelting also took place during the demonstration. However, till now no complaint has been filed by Allu Arjun’s family.

Allu Arjun appealed
Even before this incident, actor Allu Arjun had appealed to his fans to maintain decency on social media and in public places. He had written, “I appeal to my fans to express their feelings responsibly. If someone misuses my photo with a fake ID and uses derogatory language, strict action will be taken against him.”
What is the reason for the dispute?
On December 4, a woman was killed and her son suffered serious injuries when a stampede broke out during the premiere of the film ‘Pushpa 2’ at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. After this incident, the actor expressed grief and assured help to the victim’s family.

After the arrest of Allu Arjun in this case on December 13, the lower court had sent him to judicial custody for 14 days. However, Telangana High Court released him on interim bail of 4 weeks. Actor’s father Allu Aravind and film ‘Pushpa 2’ director Sukumar had recently met the victim’s child and expressed their condolences.
Police is investigating
Jubilee Hills Police is investigating this incident and is preparing to take action against the accused. Police say that the protesters will be identified and arrested soon.
