The audience was eagerly waiting for South’s superstar Vijay Devarakonda’s much awaited film ‘Kingdom’. However, now he will have to wait a little more, as the release date of the film has been changed once again. Vijay’s team has confirmed this news through social media and a new release date has also been announced. ‘Kingdom’ is a grand period action drama, in which Vijay will be seen in a tremendous role. The teaser of the film has already been released, in which Junior NTR, Ranbir Kapoor and Surya gave the necaris in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil versions respectively.

Earlier the film was scheduled to hit theaters on 30 May 2025, but now the makers have postponed it till 4 July 2025. The main reason for this delay is the completion of the long time of post-production and the completion of the background score given by Anirudh Ravichandar. The team believes that the film can be introduced at a better level by taking a little more time. As soon as the new date was announced, there was a flood of fans’ reactions on social media. Some expressed disappointment, while most supported the makers’ decision. One user wrote in enthusiasm, ‘Can’t wait for Vijay’s film anymore, this should be a blast!’ Significantly, this is the second time when the release of ‘Kingdom’ is postponed- before this it has been extended from March 28 to May 30.
