Soham Shah, who is seen in the character of Vinayak Rao, tells the story of the search for a hidden treasure in the village of Tumbbad in 20th century British India. Even after the death of his mother and brother, Vinayak decides to return to his village after 14 years in greed for the treasure. Helpless due to poverty, Vinayak escapes from Hastar and starts trying to know the secret of the treasure.

In such a situation, the treasure is found little by little by him and his son and he burns Hastar with fire.
