Reason for making web series Panchayat
According to the director of the Panchayat Deepak Kumar Mishra, somewhere we wanted to connect with the hearts of the people. People who love the village like us. Personally, I am from the village itself. I grew up watching serials like Malgudi Days and Bysemkesh Bakshi. When I came to Mumbai and joined the movie theatre, somewhere in my mind I had a wish that just as we have enjoyed the serials made on the background of a village like Malgudi Days, in the same way today’s generation will also feel the old taste after watching our serials. With whom we have lived our childhood. We wanted to somehow bring it to the audience through us. It was with this wish that we made Panchaye and I am glad that every section of the audience liked it. For this reason, Panchayats are also being formed.
Film people love the village
The film industry is a place where everyone is welcome. Here there is neither caste discrimination nor rich and poor. Whoever has the skill, that person can make a place in the film industry. Whether it is from village, city or any town. Everyone is welcome here. There are many actors in the film industry who left the soil of their village and came to Mumbai to become an actor and became an actor after many years of struggle. Like Manoj Bajpai, Rajpal Yadav, Pankaj Tripathi, Raghuveer Yadav, Nawazuddin Siddiqui are such artists who love their village background. They are popular and have not forgotten their village despite leading a modern life.
According to Pankaj Tripathi, whenever he works in a web series based on the village, he remembers the days spent in his village. Similarly, Raghuveer Yadav says, our childhood has been spent in the village. There was a papad seller selling papads in the village. His style of selling papads was strange. I learned a lot from that too and I used to imitate selling papads in different ways just like that.
Like Pankaj Tripathi, Raghuveer Yadav, Manoj Bajpayee too has not forgotten his village despite being established as one of the finest actors in Mumbai. According to Manoj Bajpayee, whenever he does a web series or a film based on a village, he likes it very much. It seems as if childhood memories are fresh once again. According to Manoj Bajpai, he also likes the village because there is no pretense there. Be it love or abuse, everything happens on the face.
