Then this bungalow was also known as Bhoot Bungalow. But Rajendra Kumar named this bungalow named ‘Dimple’ after his daughter. As soon as he purchased this bungalow, Rajendra Kumar’s luck again went and became a star overnight. When Rajendra Kumar reached the peak of fame, he took another house and shifted there. But Rajesh Khanna’s stardom started catching pace from here.
Career graph fell in the last time
His popularity declined at the last minute of Rajesh Khanna’s life, he preferred to spend time alone at home drunk. His close friend, journalist Ali Peter John often wrote about Rajesh Khanna’s struggle with his declining fame. In a special incident, Ali Peter John wrote how, after attending a program, no one gave Rajesh Khanna a seat at the airport and had to sit on his belongings. Ali Peter John recalled, ‘The ceremony was over and we went back and I could see a new Rajesh Khanna’s resurrection that went back until we came back to Mumbai and the reality was that he was nowhere and no one hit his face, when no one at the airport was ready to give him a seat and eventually he had to sit on his bag.
