New Delhi, July 22 (IANS)| Neha Kakkar is fast emerging as the ‘One Woman Industry’ who is consistently giving hit songs and is currently running on top. He says that there is never a bad time to become a singer in the industry. Over the years, he has given back-to-back hit songs which include film songs like ‘Garmi’, ‘Dilbar’ and ‘O Saki Saki’.
Asked if this is a good time to be a singer in the industry, Neha told IANS, “There is never a bad time to be a singer in the industry. It matters how unique you are, but most of all. “It’s important that you be a good person too. All our friends in the music industry are really nice and we wish them all the best.”
Neha has become the undisputed queen of remixes in a very short span of time. Before making her Bollywood debut, Neha and her siblings Tony and Sonu Kakkar used to sing in Jagrata. Neha said that this is the result of hard work and honesty. The journey has been humbling and it has been very valuable to me in how we have grown. My fans make my journey worth it. With success comes criticism. Neha, who recently married singer Rohanpreet Singh, is often trolled on social media and has also been the content of memes and jokes. She doesn’t get overly bothered by negative comments that come her way.
How is she not affected by the massive trolling happening on social media? To this Neha says to work hard, be honest, be humble, and never lose faith. What’s next for Neha? “There are a lot of things in the pipeline, you’ll know very soon with a big announcement,” the 33-year-old singer said. Neha recently performed on the MX Takatak app, and she says, “I am very happy, excited and humbled that I am launching the Takatak platform.”
