Aamir Khan’s film ‘Taare Zameen Par’, released in 2007, was a superhit. The story of the film was about a child suffering from dyslexia, whom his teacher Ram Shankar not only handles very well, but also teaches him to live. This film got a rating of 8.3 out of 10 on IMDb and made at a cost of just Rs 12 crore, this film did a total business of Rs 98 crore 48 lakh. During the shooting of the film, there was a difficulty about which many fans are not aware. But Aamir Khan had solved this problem very intelligently.
This thing came to light after half of the shooting
In fact, when more than half of the shooting of the film was done, Aamir Khan came to know that child actor Darsheel Safary, who played the character of Ishaan Awasthi, had never cried in his life. There were many scenes in the film in which Darsheel Safary was shown crying and whoever watched the film found Darsheel’s crying scenes very emotional. Now the question is that when Darsheel did not know how to cry, then how did he give these amazing takes?
Darsheel went and told Aamir the matter.
Actually, Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, who played the role of Aamir Khan’s teacher in the film, taught Darsheel Safari to cry in a very short time and then everyone has seen the amazing feat done by Darsheel in the film. The film’s director Aamir Khan told in an interview, “He came and told me that Aamir uncle, I don’t know how to cry. I have never cried in my life. Now you are half way through the shooting and suddenly you realize that he Will not be able to cry.”
When Aamir taught Darsheel to cry
Aamir Khan told, “He (Darsheel Safari) was very nervous as to how will I do the scene, because I don’t know how to cry. Then I told him not to worry. Calm down. I am not asking you to cry. Can you just copy my breathing pattern? First I started breathing normally and then I changed my breathing pattern and started doing it. So I said just breathe like this and make a face as if you are in a lot of pain.” This method of Aamir Khan worked and in this way Darsheel’s crying scenes were shot.
