Like every week, this time too many films and web series have become popular on OTT as soon as they are released, some of which have been much discussed among the people. Not only this, some of these are still in trend, which the audience is liking very much. This time, apart from Hollywood and Korean, many Hindi and South movies also created a stir on OTT. From getting the release date of Season 3 of Mismatched to the arrival of XO Kitty Season 2 in January 2025, this week is all about OTT.

Korean actress Anna Cathcart returns as Katherine ‘Kitty’ Song Covey at a Korean independent school in Seoul in the second season of XO Kitty. Based on the spinoff of author Jenny Han’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before books and its film adaptations of the same name, ‘XO Kitty 2’ will arrive on Netflix on January 16, 2025. This season, Kitty returns for her second semester as a single and ready to make a fresh start. The show also stars actors Minyoung Choi, Jia Kim, Song Heon Lee, Anthony Keown, Regan Aliyah, Peter Thurnwald, Jocelyn Shelfo, and Michael K. Lee, with Phillip Lee joining as a new character. Since the announcement of the new season of this series, there is a huge buzz about it on OTT.
mismatched season 3
Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli starrer upcoming romantic drama series Mismatched is back with its third season and the duo has even announced the release date with a video on Instagram. ‘Mismatched 3’ will start streaming on Netflix from December 13. The show is the story of Rishi and Dimple who meet on campus while pursuing a gaming course. It also stars Taruk Raina, Vidya Malvade, Ranvija Singha, Muskaan Jaffrey and Abhinav Sharma, with actor Ahsaan Channa also joining the team as a new addition. This too has been in the spotlight this time.
Star Wars: Vision
At the annual Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific Showcase held in Singapore, Disney has announced the third season of Star Wars: Visions, an anthology series of animated shorts. It will showcase the Star Wars mythology through different cultural perspectives. It will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar in 2025. Even after the announcement of the new season, its trailer on OTT has remained in the news.

The 2024 Tamil drama ‘Lineman’ is now available for streaming on the Aha Tamil platform. Starring veteran actor Charley, the film is based on true events. Set in the backdrop of the Thoothukudi salt pans, Lineman revolves around the difficulties faced by the people of the land which revolves around an electric lineman played by Charley, while his son tries to present his project on solar lights. Tries to meet the Chief Minister of the state.
blue van
Punjabi mystery thriller drama ‘Blue Van’ starring Ravindra Grewal, Aman Sandhu, Ravinder Mand, Dilawar Sidhu, Gurpreet Toti and Raj Dhaliwal will make its OTT debut on Chaupal on 28th November. The film revolves around a strange blue van with a dedicated team of detectives on a mission to uncover the secrets hidden within it.
