Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer ‘Gadar 2’, which created history at the box office, will return to the theatres once again. This film is going to be released again in theatres on August 4. But this time it will be released in Indian Sign Language (ISL) for deaf audiences.

‘Gadar 2’ was a hit with millions of people across the country last year and it became one of the highest grossing Hindi films till date. The purpose of releasing the film in ISL is to provide an immersive cinematic experience to differently-abled viewers.
The journey of Gadar was special for Amisha
For this move, Zee Studios has partnered with an organization called ‘India Signing Hands’ ahead of the film’s first anniversary. Talking about this initiative, the film’s actress Ameesha Patel said, “Being a part of ‘Gadar’ films has been a special journey for me. It is great that we are bringing Sakina’s story back to the big screen for a special audience who do not enjoy watching films in the cinema like us. I hope this initiative will inspire other filmmakers to take cinema forward.”

It feels great to see the love and support it is getting from the audience even after a year of its release. Re-releasing it with Indian Sign Language will help the film touch the hearts of even more audiences this time.”

In this, Sunny Deol has played the role of Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel has played the role of Sakina. At the same time, Utkarsh Sharma has appeared in the role of his son Charanjit. The story of the film is based on the backdrop of the third Indo-Pakistani war of 1971. In this, Tara Singh returns to Lahore, Pakistan amidst the anti-India “Crush India” campaign to bring back his son Charanjit. The film ‘Gadar 2’ was released on August 11 last year.
