While talking to the media at an event, Hrithik Roshan told that his superhit film ‘Krrish’ was actually made because of the Hollywood movie ‘Lord of the Rings’. Hrithik Roshan told that his father Rakesh Roshan was watching the film ‘Lord of the Rings’ in his free time. He liked this film so much that he then watched the second part of this film. After watching the second part of the film, he could not help but watch its third part and then he also watched its third part. And then suddenly he got an idea.

Hrithik Roshan told during the interview that there is a connection between me and Lord of the Rings which I think no one knows about. It so happened that in the year 2004, my father watched all three parts of ‘Lord of the Rings’ one after the other because the story was such that he was unable to stop himself. After watching three parts of this film, he called me and said, “In that film, they took an idea and improvised it and took it further and made it much broader.”

Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan asked him, “Why can’t we do this?” Rakesh Roshan said that why don’t we take one of our previous films and take it forward by improving its story.
