Bollywood actresses Trupti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi are currently busy shooting for their upcoming romantic-drama ‘Dhadak 2’. Produced by Dharma Productions, the film is the sequel to the 2018 hit ‘Dhadak’, with which Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut. Trupti and Siddhant have started shooting for ‘Dhadak 2’. A picture from the set has gone viral on social media. The photographs of both were taken at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Maharashtra. In the picture shared on social media, both the actors are seen filming the college scene and are also seen climbing the stairs while talking. While Trupti looked stunning in a printed top and jeans, Siddhant’s look has left fans worried. In the photo, the actor can be seen wearing brown face makeup with a middle class look and this look of Siddhant has disappointed the fans.
The film is based on caste discrimination
For those unaware, the story of ‘Pariyarum Perumal’ and ‘Dhadak 2’ revolves around a lower caste boy who falls in love with a rich and upper class girl. The film was announced in May
In May this year, Karan Johar confirmed the sequel to Dhadak through his social media accounts and announced the release of Dhadak 2. The film, directed by Shazia Iqbal, was earlier scheduled to release in theaters on November 22, 2024. , the release has been postponed to next year.
