Workers of all Hindu organizations, including Bajrang Dal, gathered at the VIP entrance of the Mahakal temple. Even the police was not there then. As soon as the production team of Brahmastra arrived, the sloganeering started fiercely. Black flags were also shown to them. The police tried to stop the protesters. There was a fierce debate with the activists of Hinduist organizations on this. The news of the uproar had probably reached Alia and Ranbir. In such a situation, both of them did not come to visit the Jyotirlinga in the temple. Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji said that he is very happy to see Mahakal and has prayed to him for the success of the film. Ayan kept silence on the performance of Hinduist organizations.
In this case, a case has been registered at Mahakal police station against the activists of Hindu organizations under section 353. He is accused of obstructing government work. Actually, before the release of the film Brahmastra, an old video clip of Ranbir Kapoor went viral, in which he is saying that he likes to eat beef. He gave this interview in 2011. In this interview he had said – I love mutton, beef and red meat. For this reason, the people of Hindu organizations are opposing the film. However, Ranbir says that this video has been edited.
