New Delhi. Gulshan Devaiah and Janhvi Kapoor‘s spy-thriller film ‘Uljh’ was released recently. This movie has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. ‘Uljh’ is not performing well at the box office either. In two days, the film has not been able to do a business of even Rs 4 crore across the country. Meanwhile, Gulshan Devaiah has posted something on social media that has caught everyone’s attention.

Gulshan Devaiah has shared a post on the social media platform Twitter amidst the poor business of ‘Uljh’ in which he wrote, ‘Struggle is the salt that makes success taste good. Those who do not accept the struggle will never be able to achieve anything worthwhile. This is a tough business. Period’.

User gave special advice to Gulshan Devaiah
Meanwhile, a user tagged Gulshan Devaiah and wrote that ‘Uljh’ should have been released on OTT instead of theatres. The user posted, ‘Sir, it is a question of moving away from the obsession with the big screen and going where the consumers are going. OTT is the future. This movie would have got love, appreciation and views on OTT, but it was wrongly released in theatres.’

In response to this, Gulshan Devaiah wrote, ‘Feature films are meant to be seen on the big screen. Hits and flops are a part of life. As practical as I am about many things, I can never set aside my idealism when it comes to cinema. I don’t even expect people to understand this. This is a very personal matter for me.’
