This actor, who earns a thousand rupees of the month, today is the owner of crores of property who is living a life of comfort with his family. The National Award winner has appeared in more than 200 films and was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2014.
Star left a bank job
The actor, who has worked with Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Rajkumar Rao, Kriti Suresh to Nana Patekar, is none other than Paresh Rawal, who is recognized as one of the most talented Indian artists. However, his visit to stardom was not easy. He quit the banking job and after facing many challenges, he became one of the most famous stars in the industry today. Paresh Rawal was born on 30 May 1955 in a middle class Gujarati family in Bombay. He completed his education from Narsi Monji College of Commerce and Economics in Vile Parle, Mumbai. After completing college studies, Paresh himself decided to earn money.
Paresh Rawal was covered as a villain
On the show Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal had told that in childhood he did not get any pocket money from the family, due to which he had to work in the bank. He worked in Bank of Baroda for one and a half months, but quit his job. He borrowed money from his girlfriend and 1979 Miss India winner Swaroop Sampat to run his own expenses. Eventually both of them got married in 1987 and had two sons, Aditya and Anirudh. Paresh Rawal made his film debut in 1982 with the Gujarati film ‘Naseeb Ni Balihari’. In Hindi cinema, she started with ‘Holi’ (1984), directed by Meera Nair and starring Aamir Khan. After acting in Sunny Deol’s ‘Arjun’ (1985), he got recognition and ahead of it, he won the hearts of everyone by playing the role of a villain in Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Naam’ (1986).
Print on screen with every character
In 2000, Paresh Rawal played the role of Maharashtrian garage owner Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in Priyadarshan’s ‘Hera Pheri’. His character of Baburao made him a comedy king and won several awards. He later reiterated this role in ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ (2006) and will now return as Baburao in ‘Hera Pheri 3’. Paresh has played comedy roles in Priyadarshan’s many films, which were very much liked. He also played a strong role in the social comedy ‘Oh My God’ and played a dark side role in ‘Table No. 21’.
