Veteran Indian actor and film director Manoj Kumar has passed away. His patriotic films made a different place in everyone’s mind. Manoj Kumar, who was also known as ‘Bharat Kumar’, breathed his last at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Friday. The actor said goodbye to the world at the age of 87. Bollywood will always remember him for his immense contribution to Indian cinema. Manoj Kumar, who was awarded the Padma Shri and Dadasaheb Phalke Award, is a big loss for Indian cinema. Manoj Kumar breathed his last at 3:30 am today due to age -related health problems. He was hospitalized for the last few weeks. The hospital management has given this information.
Manoj Kumar becomes Bharat Kumar
Born on 24 July 1937 as Harikrishna Giri Goswami, Manoj Kumar became known in Hindi cinema on the strength of his work and powerful image. He was a true patriot and tried to show it in every film. Manoj Kumar, who has adopted himself in every character, came to be called Bharat Kumar due to his patriotic films. Manoj Kumar not only acted in patriotic films but has also won his heart with great direction. Padma Shri honored with Shri
Manoj Kumar was awarded the Padma Shri in 1992 for his contribution to Indian cinema and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2015. Apart from his patriotic films, he was seen acting in many brilliant films like ‘Hariyali Aur Rasta’, ‘Woh Kaun Thi’, ‘Himalaya Ki Lap Mein’, ‘Do Badan’, ‘Patthar Ke Sanam’, ‘Neel Kamal’ and ‘Kranti’.
