We couldn’t stop the shooting even for a while because our budget was low. So every Whenever she (Vidya Balan) had to change her clothes, we used to cover her Innova with a black cloth in the middle of the road, she used to change her clothes inside and then came out.”

Before making Kahaani, Sujoy Ghosh had given three consecutive flop films. Talking about this, Sujoy said, after the failure of Aladdin, Vidya Balan could have refused to do a story film. But, I have seen that the actors of that generation… from Sir Amitabh Bachchan to Khan Saheb (Shahrukh Khan), are very strong of their tongue. If they promise to do something, they definitely do it. Vidya also falls in the same category.”
