Actor Vikas Sethi, who has worked in TV and Bollywood, breathed his last on September 8, 2024. The actor died due to heart attack. The actor’s family and friends were shocked by his sudden demise. Now the actor’s wife Jhanvi has spoken about her husband’s death, almost a month after the incident. In an interview, Jhanvi told that they were struggling with financial crisis. Not only this, he also told that just 8 days before his death, Vikas Sethi had also signed a film.
Signed film 8 days before death
In an exclusive conversation with The Times of India, Jhanvi talked about her husband’s death. Jhanvi told, “We were going through emotional and financial problems since last year, and when things seemed to be getting better, he went away from us. Just 8 days before his death, he had signed the film Oops 2 with Deepak Tijori. “
Vikas was not getting work
In the same interview, Jhanvi told that Vikas Sethi was not getting any work, due to which his family was going through financial crisis. Jhanvi said that whenever he went to any casting director or producer asking for work, they used to remind him of his alcohol addiction. Jhanvi told that Vikas had controlled his habit, but they kept reminding him about his disturbing past.
Jhanvi said, “Vikas was not getting work, and people would often remind him how his career had changed. People would often remind him of his bad habits in the past, like alcohol addiction. Earlier he had overcome his addiction. If you keep reminding a person about his worst times, it affects his mental health. Vikas was a sensitive and introverted person. The hurtful comments had broken him.
Vikas Sethi played the role of Kareena Kapoor’s boyfriend in the film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. Apart from this, he was also seen in many TV serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Geet Hui Sabse Parai and Hamari Betiyon Ka Vivaah.
