New Delhi. Indian cricket team’s star batsman Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, were once again seen engrossed in devotion. On the night of Karva Chauth, the two took part in a kirtan organized by American bhajan singer Krishna Das at Nesco Center in Mumbai. The organizers of the event shared pictures of Virat and Anushka on social media on this holy occasion, which quickly went viral.

In the pictures, Anushka Sharma can be seen clapping and joining in the devotional mood during the Kirtan, while Virat was also seen enjoying the Kirtan with full devotion. The presence of both of them in this kirtan made this grand event more special. Sharing the pictures, the organizers said, “Virat and Anushka made the atmosphere even more devotional by joining our devotional meeting.”

This is not the first time that Virat and Anushka have participated in Krishna Das’s kirtan. Earlier, in July 2024, the couple also attended a kirtan of Krishna Das in London. Both Virat and Anushka are known for their inclination towards spirituality and often attend such events.

Virat left for Pune

After enjoying the kirtan, Virat Kohli left straight for Pune, where the second Test match between India and New Zealand will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium from October 24. India is trailing 1-0 in the series, and the team under the leadership of Virat Kohli will try to level the series by winning this match.

Anushka Sharma, who has made a mark in Bollywood with her acting, was soon going to make a comeback with Jhulan Goswami’s biopic ‘Chakda Express’. However, after the birth of their second child, the release date of this film has not been officially announced yet. Anushka was last seen in the film ‘Zero’ with Shahrukh Khan, after which she appeared in a song ‘Ghode Pe Sawar’ from the film ‘Kala’.
