Vahbiz Dorabji gave his interview to Bollywood Bubble. During this, while talking about body shaming, the actress said, ‘I think there was a pressure and I started facing it at the beginning of my career. ‘Pyar Ki Yeh Ek Kahani Mein’ I was very thin and then because of the hours (spent on the set) and all the pressure, my weight started increasing. I developed hyperthyroidism at a very young age. (My weight/figure) was out of my control because no matter how hard I tried, I was not losing weight.

Vahbiz further said, ‘What happened then was that the society started humiliating me. My friends, my family started making fun of me. This made me even more depressed. Where one day I broke down and realized that this is who I am. I can either accept it or leave it. My confidence was completely shattered. But today I am very happy that now with time women are coming forward and expressing their opinions. There are a lot of plus-size models and a lot of plus-size influencers coming out. Not only this, many actresses are also fat. This was a social pressure that was first put on women. I believe that no one has the right to humiliate you.
