In a recent interview with Filmfare, when Raveena Tandon was asked about the alleged “catfight” with Karisma during the shooting of ‘Aatish’, the actress cleared the air. Regarding the alleged fight between her and Karisma, she clarified that there was never any such fight between the two. Also, Raveena stressed that unlike male actors, female actors express their disagreement only in verbal discussions.

Raveena also spoke about how she has maintained friendships with many of her contemporaries from that era, including Pooja Bhatt, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit and Shilpa Shetty. She said that while there was love between some female actors, there were some who were insecure then and are insecure even today, which prevents strong bonds from forming.

She says, “It’s love that is still prevalent, but there are some who were insecure before and are insecure even today. They are not able to maintain those relationships. But we still meet socially. On the rumours of an alleged fight at the airport during the outdoor shoot of ‘Aatish’, Raveena said, “It was never a catfight. Sorry, but I disagree. There was never a catfight between us. There could be a discussion, ‘Why are you doing this or what is the need to do that? Let’s bridge this gap’, but there was never a fight. It was blown out of proportion and of course, with a lot of mirch masala. There was no social media in those days. You couldn’t reach out to people.”
