Recently, Ranbir Kapoor spoke openly about his personal life in an interview given to Nikhil Kamath. ‘Animal’ actor Ranbir Kapoor told that his life has completely changed after the birth of his daughter Rhea. After the birth of Rhea, the actor has also given up his years old habits.
Talking about becoming a father, Ranbir Kapoor says, ‘Now I am a father and I have a daughter. This has changed my life. After becoming a father, I feel as if I have been born again. I feel that for 40 years of my life I was living a second life and with the birth of my daughter I have got a second life.’
The actor further said that after Raha’s birth, his perspective on life and death has changed. The actor says that he was never afraid of death. He always thought that he would live till the age of 71, but now he feels that 71 is too less and he will be 71 years old in just 30 years.
I gave up smoking for my daughter
Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he gave up his bad habit for daughter Rhea. He says, ‘I was smoking since the age of 17. I was very badly addicted to cigarettes, but after becoming a father, I quit smoking last year and I feel much fitter than before’.
The Bollywood ‘Rockstar’ revealed that Rhea’s birth inspired him to make healthier choices. The realisation of his new responsibilities as a father prompted him to quit smoking. He took this step so that he could stay healthy for his daughter.
Let us tell you, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in April 2022. The couple welcomed their daughter Raha shortly after the marriage.
