To prevent the release of Udaipur files, a petition was first filed in the Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court stayed the release. Against which the producers of Udaipur files turned to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court, not approving the release, assigned the responsibility to the Center’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to take a decision on the film. The Committee of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has advised the producer and director of Udaipur files to change the film’s disclaimer. Apart from this, some credit frames have also been asked to remove. The committee has also asked to add voice overs at some places in the film Udaipur files. The committee of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has also asked to name the character in the film in place of Nutan Sharma. Also, the turban used in Saudi Arabia has also been asked to change the scene made from AI. The committee’s committee has said the dialogue of Udaipur files- I have also advised to remove what is written in their scriptures.
Maulana Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, had filed a petition in the court against the release of Udaipur files.
