Salman Khan played the role of an HIV patient. The special thing is that in this film released in 2004, the character of the HIV patient was rejected by the entire industry. When no hero wanted to play this role, Salman Khan came as a savior and played this role for a fee of just Rs 1. The film’s producer Shailendra Singh has revealed this. But we needed an HIV-infected lead character in this film. We talked to many actors of the industry. But everyone refused to do this character. After this, Shilpa Shetty narrated this story to Salman Khan. Salman Khan agreed to Shilpa’s words and he agreed to work in this film for a fee of Rs 1. Salman Khan came as a savior for this film.’
The film was a flop at the box office
The film ‘Phir Milenge’ released on 27 August 2004 could not do any special wonders at the box office. But it left a big mark in terms of awareness. Salman Khan was in the lead role with Shilpa Shetty in the film. Abhishek Bachchan played the role of a lawyer in the film. Made with a budget of 5 crore 50 lakh rupees, this film could earn only 3 crore 65 lakh rupees in India. Although the worldwide collection of the film reached 5 crore 43 lakh rupees. But the film has been kept in the list of flops.
