Mumbai. Vijay Deverakonda’s film ‘Family Star’ is getting mixed response from the audience. Mrinal Thakur is in the lead role opposite Vijay in the film. The first weekend was nothing special for this film, which was released on April 5. According to the report of Sacknilk, the film collected only Rs 11.95 crore. The film seems to be a commercial flop. The film’s producer Dil Raju has reacted to this and held the film’s review responsible for this. He also said that there should be a ban on reviewing films for 3 days.
Dil Raju had high expectations from the film but it did not happen. In the video shared on X by Andhra Box Office, the review of Dil Raju film has been strongly condemned. Citing the decision of a Kerala court, he said that people from other states should also not review films.

Speaking to TV9, Dil Raju said, “A court in Kerala has banned the publication of reviews for 3 days after the release of the film. Something similar should be implemented here for the betterment of our industry. We have made a good film, please come to the theater and watch it. If you like it, tell it to others. You didn’t like a movie, that’s your opinion. But, do not impose your opinion on the audience.”
Family audience is liking Vijay Deverakonda’s film!
Dil Raju says that the family audience is saying it is good. The makers are the first to be affected by these negative reviews. If this trend continues and the losses increase. Family Star is directed by Parasuram and Petla. Petla had earlier directed Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Geeta Govindam, which was a superhit.
