When asked about the controversies surrounding his songs, the rapper said, ‘It doesn’t matter to me, but I feel that now I should answer it.’ Honey then gave the example of Gulzar’s songs and said that why people never questioned the songs of respected writers like him, ‘Bidi Jalai Le Jigar Se Piya, Jigar Mein Badi Aag Hai’. ‘Where is the liver of a woman?’

After this, Honey Singh further mentioned another song of Gulzar. He said, ‘Another of his songs is ‘Jubaan Par Laga Namak Ishq Ka’ and ‘Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai’. Why is he talking about a woman’s tongue… I have grown up listening to all this. Why am I the only one wrong?’
