Indian musician Ricky Cage has been nominated for the Grammy Award for the fourth time. Ricky Cage, who has won this award thrice before, is now hoping to win it for the fourth time. Ricky Cage has once again been nominated for a Grammy Awards for his recent album ‘Break of Dawn’. Cage is nominated in the category of Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album. Speaking with ANI, the ace musician admitted that he hopes to get fourth time lucky. Ricky continues, ‘I’ve already won three Grammy Awards, and this is my fourth nomination. I hope this will be my fourth win. I have been a lifelong environmentalist and I have always believed that this is what our ancient Indian culture teaches us. The impurities of the environment are directly related to the impurities of the mind, so to solve any problem we face as a species, we must first purify our minds.’

Ricky Cage is Indian by origin and born in America. Ricky was born in 1981 in a Punjabi-Marwari family in the American city of North Carolina. Ricky was crazy about music since childhood. When Ricky was 8 years old, he came to Bangalore with his parents. Ricky studied here from a school named Bishop Cotton. After finishing schooling here, Ricky obtained a dental degree from Oxford. Along with college studies, Ricky is also busy in the world of music. Before this, Ricky has won the Grammy Award three times. Now Ricky has been nominated for the fourth time.

What is Ricky’s new album about?

Ricky Cage said that the environment is very important for today and future generations. Ricky explains, ‘Break of Dawn (the name of the album) inspires in my mind to create a more compassionate, kind and environmentally conscious society through the power of music. So Break of Dawn is a new age album. It is inspired by the ancient ragas of India. Each of the nine songs on Break of Dawn is based on an ancient Indian raga. It has been carefully crafted to promote mental health and well-being and focuses on India-based wellness music. I am extremely grateful for this honor of receiving my fourth GRAMMY nomination. This album has been liked a lot in other countries of the world including India.
