Kshitij shared a post on Sonakshi-Zaheer’s wedding photo.
Sonakshi Sinha is now married. The actress married her long time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on 23 June 2024. As soon as Sonakshi became Mrs from Miss, everyone started waiting for her wedding photos. Everyone was eager to know what the actress wore at her wedding, how she looked. In such a situation, the actress also did not disappoint her fans. She shared some very romantic pictures with husband Zaheer Iqbal and shared her happiness with her fans. But, a singer has expressed his displeasure on social media after seeing the pictures of Sonakshi-Zaheer.
Sonakshi shared her and Zaheer’s photos with a romantic song
Actually, while sharing her and Zaheer’s photos, Sonakshi Sinha has used the song ‘Afreen-Afreen’ in the background. As soon as Sonakshi’s photos came on social media, they started going viral. The photos got millions of likes in a few hours. Along with this, the song ‘Afreen-Afreen’ played in the background also started trending. But, the problem here is that while sharing the photos, the actress did not give credit to the singer for the song used in the background.
What is the whole matter?
The original singer of the song used by Sonakshi is Kshitij Anand, to whom the actress did not give credit for the song. On the other hand, the name of some Lavanya Dixit is coming up in this song and seeing this, Kshitij is angry. Kshitij had posted his Afreen Afreen cover singing it in his own voice, which someone used without permission. Then Sonakshi used this song with her wedding photos. In such a situation, Kshitij shared several back-to-back posts on social media and expressed disappointment about the fact that the original artist of the song was not given credit.
Kshitij did not get credit
Sharing the picture of Sonakshi-Jahari, Kshitij wrote- ‘This is the third time my audio has been shared by someone else on Instagram Music/Spotify and it started trending. People are using it. But, when you record something with so much hard work and your name is not seen with it, it feels very bad.’
Post by Kshitij Anand.
expressed gratitude to Sonakshi
‘I don’t know how people can feel it’s okay to use someone else’s work on a streaming platform without permission and that too without a name. I am very grateful that Sonakshi Sinha used my voice on her wedding post, but it feels bad not to see my name there.’
