New Delhi. The court on Monday, December 30, reserved its verdict on the bail plea of actor Allu Arjun in the case of death of a woman and injuries to her eight-year-old son in the stampede at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad on December 4. Now the court will give its verdict on January 3.
What is the matter?
A case was registered against actor Allu Arjun, his security team and the theater management at Chikkadpally police station on the complaint of the deceased woman’s family. The police registered a case under multiple sections of the IPC and named Allu Arjun as accused number 11.
Allu Arjun’s arrest and bail
Allu Arjun was arrested on 13 December, following which the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail for four weeks on 14 December. On December 27, the actor appeared in the court through video conferencing. After hearing the petition filed for regular bail, the court reserved the decision.

The injured child Shritej is undergoing treatment in the hospital. According to medical reports, he is slowly recovering and is drinking milk through a nasogastric tubewell. However, his mental condition remains stable. Doctors said that he again needed oxygen and ventilator support.
The incident happened when a huge crowd gathered at Sandhya Theater during the screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ to get a glimpse of actor Allu Arjun. The crowd became so uncontrollable that a stampede broke out. A 35-year-old woman died in this accident, while her son was injured.
