Mumbai: Yami Gautam and Neha Dhupia starrer film ‘A Thursday’ is being liked a lot by the audience. The performance of the film and the star cast is getting a lot of applause. Apart from Neha and Yami, the film also stars Karanvir Sharma, Atul Kulkarni and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. Yami is seen in the role of Playschool teacher Naina in the film. She takes 16 children hostage and demands Rs 50 crore and meets the Prime Minister (Dimple Kapadia).
In a recent interview to a news portal, when Yami was asked whether the audience should expect a sequel to the film, the actress laughed and said, “If only I was the producer of the film. Would definitely answer it. Talking on this, the actress said- ‘The producer and director never discussed it as they were completely focused on making the film. This film was not just a project for him, in fact the entire team associated with the film just wanted to do a good job. But let me tell you, we have not had any kind of conversation about this film’s sequel will be made.
Talking about her character, Yami Gautam further said- ‘My parents got very emotional seeing this character of mine. It took me almost 10 years to get such a role.
